Racist Benediction at Inauguration
Today at the Inauguration Benediction the Reverend Joseph Lowery obviously could not resist the chance to make a racist remark against white people. Lowery said and I quote " 'Lord, in the memory of all the saints who from their labors rest, and in the joy of a new beginning, we ask you to help us work for that day when black will not be asked to get in back, when brown can stick around... when the red man can get ahead, man; and when white will embrace what is right. That all those who do justice and love mercy say Amen. Say Amen'... " When white will embrace what is right??? Liberals go ahead and say what you want about me for this, but in my opinion that was a total, completely, out-right racist comment against white people. I can hear it coming already, I know the liberals are going to call me the racist one, I am not. I am however intolerant of racism coming from ANYONE, regardless of that persons race, sex, or religion. Rev. Lowery I may not have personally voted for Obama, but in order for him to get elected, a majority of white people did. I would like for you to explain to me how being the leader of the free world is being asked to get in back? How white people participating in electing an African American is not embracing what is right?? There are two groups of people in America that we still allow discrimination against, white people and Christians, And it needs to stop. This is just my opinion, if you don't like it, sue me. But don't try to say I am not embracing what is right. ( ALSO CHECK OUT THIS Similar article http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,481049,00.html)
